Saturday was World Wide Knit in Public Day. Thanks to Marie, who arranged this day, we had a great time at Bayonne Park.
There was a beautiful breeze; ideal to sit outside and knit. I got there a little later than everyone else, sans chair. (I wasn’t thinking clearly after a painful morning at the dentist.) But a fellow knitter was kind enough to lend me hers. Marie had furnished a tent and snacks. Here she is busy with Kristen, our resident photographer and an exceptional knitter too.
Marie was kind enough to provide pins to the first twenty people to arrive. Since I got there too late. I was pinless. So this morning, like any good knitting fanatic, I went onto the wwwkipd website and ordered the knitting bag (like I need another one)
and a pin.
Two of the ladies were wearing these necklaces which were strings of crocheted chains joined together.

And here are all the busy hands on Saturday afternoon.

Nice pics, MB! I especially like the small pictures of all the hands busy knitting and crocheting, or showing their work.
