Sprung Shawl using Knitter's Block Kit

This is the Sprung Shawl that I completed last week.  It is crocheted.  On Saturday night I decided to take out my Knitter’s Block kit and block the Sprung Shawl. It was crocheted with a J hook and knitted with Acquerello superwash by Aurora Yarns I washed first washed the shawl in Soak Wash and then spread out the whole shawl on the interlocking

blocks. About an hour later it came to me that I should fold it in half and it would block much better and I was right.

And here it is finished on a hanger.    A gift for my Mom, who fell in love with it even before the blocking.
